I came to the USA in 1986 as a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Medicine, Division of Oncology, at the University of Connecticut Health Center in Farmington, CT. In 1989, I was awarded the James P. Wilmot Fellowship (1989-1992), and in 1992 became Assistant Professor of Pediatrics, Department of Pediatrics, Division of Hematology and Oncology, University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, and Assistant Professor of Oncology, Strong Memorial Hospital Cancer Center, Rochester, New York. In 1994, I joined the National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Cancer Institute (NCI), Laboratory of Drug Discovery, Research & Development, Division of Cancer Treatment & Diagnosis to evaluate the potential anticancer properties of new drugs being discovered at the NCI’s screening programs.
It was not until 2011, with the publication of my book, “Atavistic Metamorphosis: A New and Logical Explanation on the Origin and Biological Nature of Cancer,” that I was compelled to develop a new and completely different approach to understanding and treating cancer. I named this revolutionary approach to cancer treatments, “Atavistic Chemotherapy,” and, more recently, with the introduction of vaccines, “Atavistic Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy.”
I believe Atavistic Oncology is a new science that will forever change the way we study and treat cancer. It also offers a promising new era of discoveries in medicine, since very likely, many other diseases for which do not have an explanation are governed by similar atavistic events.
However, if you tell your family doctor or oncologist that you want to try a new treatment for cancer called, “Atavistic Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy,” you are likely to meet with skepticism or doubt. This is understandable; historically, medical innovations have been frequently rejected, criticized, or totally ignored by the medical community, without an adequate assessment.
On the other hand, the general population is also reluctant to believe because there is a cloud of skepticism that has been created over the years relative to any new approach to the treatment of cancer. This is not only because the cancer field is plagued by “alternative cancer scammers,” but also because recognized cancer institutions and the pharmaceutical industry alike deliver basically the same results as those obtained by the scammers when dealing with metastatic cancers.
I have committed myself to perfecting and optimizing these therapeutic approaches to the point that cancer is no longer a threat in the life of children and adults during their productive years.
Below my photograph please find a summarized version of my scientific and academic trajectory since then. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. I am a very approachable person, and I understand that people with cancer need immediate answers to their questions and concerns.
